Maintenance plans

Nobody should have to wonder whether their website is okay.

A site needs regular care, like anything you rely on. With a plan, that care happens every month without you having to think about it, and someone you know is watching.

Does this sound familiar?

What I do about it

Three ways to have your site looked after

Basic

Predictable upkeep for a stable site

from $240 / month

  • 1 development hour each month
  • A 30-minute planning meeting
  • Safe updates, with testing and backups
  • Security checks
  • A monthly report in a PDF

Most popular

Advanced

Proactive protection for growing sites

from $590 / month

  • 2 development hours each month
  • Two planning meetings
  • Everything in Basic
  • PHP error log review
  • Email log monitoring
  • Uptime monitoring

Enterprise

A strategic partnership at scale

from $1,000 / month

  • Development time shaped to your needs, typically 4 hours or more
  • One to four scheduled meetings
  • Safe updates and backups
  • Security and uptime monitoring
  • Optional end-to-end automated testing

Prices are all-inclusive.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Choose your plan

Pick the level of care that fits your site. You can start small and change later.

  2. Step 2

    Onboarding and access

I get access to your site, check what's there and set up backups and, on Advanced and Enterprise, monitoring.

  3. Step 3

    A safe monthly cycle

Updates are tested first and applied carefully, with a way back if anything goes wrong.

  4. Step 4

    Report and planning

You receive a clear report, and we agree what to work on next month.

Hosting matters here. I work with any host, and if you'd like a recommendation, I explain mine on the hosting page.

Questions you might have

Do unused hours roll over?

No. Hours are planned month by month, which keeps priorities clear and the work steady.

What if I need more time one month?

I can add extra hours for an urgent task, and we'll agree that before I start.

What does regression testing mean?

It means re-checking that everything which worked before an update still works after it.

“Absolutely fantastic work. I've been using Matt for 3 years now. Always delivers, and even goes the extra mile. Thank you!!”
